More do's for you's.

When you first create your character in Starfield, you’re presented with some surprisingly in-depth character creation options. You have tons of faces, plenty of eyebrows, more than enough eyes, and even skin complexion and other choices that barely make a difference on your actual face. With all these options, you may be wondering if the top of your head has a few more angles in store. Here’s whether you can unlock more hairstyles in Starfield.

Is It Possible to Unlock More Hair in Starfield?

Unless you’re willing to dive into the realm of mods, getting more customization options for your face, let alone hairstyles, is impossible in Starfield. The options you see in the character creator are what you get unless Bethesda chooses to add more later. Given that some people aren’t the biggest fans of the particular hairstyle choices in Starfield, this can be a tad disappointing.

On the bright side, you aren’t locked down to the hairstyle you chose in the character creator. If you want to change your hairstyle later, you can visit one of the Enhance stores in the major cities and change your hairstyle there. You can also change anything else you were able to select in the character creator, including your character’s pronouns and sex.

What Customization Options Can You Unlock in Starfield?

Other than facial options, the only unlockable customization options come way of the different clothing options you can either find or purchase. The easiest way to snag some more is by going to the EIT Clothing store in the Commercial District of New Atlantis. There, you’ll be able to purchase anything from casual clothing to some fancier attire as you wish. Just don’t expect to change specific bits of clothing, like specific pants or shirts.
