Can You Ride Mounts in LEGO Fortnite? Answered

Get ready for some building.

In LEGO Fortnite, getting from point A to B is much easier if you have a reliable way to travel around the world. Let’s talk about whether you can ride mounts in the game and any alternative modes of transportation you might find.

Can You Get Mounts in LEGO Fortnite?

There is currently no way to ride animal or monster mounts in LEGO Fortnite. However, you can build vehicles like monorails, boats, and even a rocket ship if you’re willing to spend some time gathering the necessary resources and assembling the structure.

There is a catch, though. Unlike a house or machine, you’ll have to build your vehicle entirely from scratch, from its base to the thrusters used to move it around. For example, building a rocket ship requires using dynamic and granite foundations to make the rocket’s exterior before connecting large thrusters and an activation ship to make it fly into the sky.

Just be prepared to farm resources such as wood, granite, and blast powder if you plan on building vehicles.

Another caveat of making vehicles in LEGO Fortnite is changing their direction. Since the game has no complete driving system, you’ll mainly move in one direction, depending on what you make and its complexity. Nonetheless, you can still travel long distances quickly if you put enough time and effort into making your car, boat, or any other vehicle you wish to use.

In future updates, we may see deeper animal taming and mounting mechanics added to LEGO Fortnite or ways to ride around on monsters. Until then, if you want to travel around your world faster than on foot, building your own modes of transportation is the way to go.
