Can you Play High on Life on PS4? – Answered

High on Life is one crazy game, made by Rick and Morty’s co-creator Justin Roiland. This funny first-person shooter with Metroidvania elements came out recently for Xbox and PC, but many gamers are wondering if can they get into this self-proclaimed “biopunk action-adventure” on other systems, primarily PlayStation. Let’s find out if you can play High of Life on PS4.

Can you Play High on Life on PS4?

As of right now, the answer is no, you can’t play it on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. High on Life launched on December 12 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The wacky game arrived on Day 1 on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service as well. Although it was mentioned before the release that the High of Life will be “console launch exclusive,” meaning that the game should be exclusive to the Xbox platform only at launch and for some contracted period later, for now, Squanch Games have not revealed their plans for porting this title to other systems.

A PlayStation version is not completely impossible, but if there is one, it certainly won’t be in the next six months, so players on PlayStation systems will have to wait before they can eventually get to play the game that Design Director Erich Mayr described as “Blade Runner meets The Muppets.”
