Can you Gift the Battle Pass in COD MW2 Season 3? – Answered

You can not currently gift the battle pass to players in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Despite this being an option in previous Call of Duty installments, Modern Warfare 2 does not offer this to players.

If you want to buy a friend the battle pass, you’ll probably just have to Venmo them or something; there isn’t really a good way to do it otherwise.

With Season 3 of Modern Warfare 2, Activision added a new premium version of the pass known as Blackcell; this offers players even more unique and exclusive rewards for even more real money.

Here’s what is included in the Blackcell pass for $30.

  • Access to the full Season 03 Battle Pass and 20 Tier Skips (25 on PlayStation)
  • 1,100 COD Points instantly awarded
  • Up to 1,400 COD Points awarded throughout the Battle Pass
  • A BlackCell Operator, attired in an imposing animated Camo skin
  • A Pro-Tuned Weapon Blueprint, Vehicle Skin, and Finishing Move
  • An exclusive BlackCell Sector within the Battle Pass AO serves as an alternative starting location
  • Immediate unlocking of adjacent Battle Pass Sectors to the BlackCell Sector
  • Additional, BlackCell-only Battle Pass content: Every Season 03 Battle Pass Sector with an Operator Skin has a BlackCell variant (12 Skins in total) to unlock
