A lot of RPGs have a passion for fashion, giving players plenty of opportunities to change how their favorite gear looks. Find out whether you can dye your armor in Dragon’s Dogma 2 or if you just need to upgrade if you want a new look.
Can You Dye Your Gear in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
If you’re looking to make your party stand together as one not only in their powers but with their gear, you’re out of luck — there is no Armor Dyeing in Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you’re hoping to keep your crew in the fanciest of gear, you’ll just need to upgrade as you come across new villages and purchase new defensive items. It’s a shame because some of the armor would look slick if you could give a random NPC a few grapes and an apple to dye your clothing, but maybe the thought of that hasn’t crossed their minds yet.
Does Dragon’s Dogma 2 Have a Transmog System?
What about the possibility of putting your favorite gear over top armor that has better ratings? Dragon’s Dogma 2 doesn’t have a transmog feature either, so make sure that you’re saving up your Gold and spending it on the Gear that you’re hoping to wear for countless hours at this point. There is a chance that this could be added in the future, but it doesn’t appear that any clues are pointing in the direction of it making its way into this hardcore RPG any time soon.
What you see is what you get with Dragon’s Dogma, at least when it comes to the armor selection. The combat and everything else steals the show here, so while you may look fancy while pulling off some of the coolest combos you’ve ever seen in an RPG, you may need to start planning for the late game and kissing your favorite gear goodbye.
