Spider-Man has donned many suits throughout its existence, be it Peter Parker, Miles Morales or any other Spider-person defending their own cities. Collecting them has been a staple in many games featuring the web-slinger, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is no exception. With dozens of suits to choose from, having even better control of your appearance would be welcome in this game. Is it possible to do so in the game?

Is There Suit Customization in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?

You can freely customize any suit available in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. As revealed in the “Expanded Marvel’s New York” trailer from the State of Play, the Suit Style system allows you to tweak and customize your alternative outfits in any way you want. According to the trailer, players will have over 200 different ways of customizing their suits to keep them fashionable while fighting crime.

Just like in the first game, each suit unlocks a different special perk which you can equip while using a different visual. The sequel expands even more on this concept with the Suit Tech tab, which is a way to upgrade your suits even further.

Both of the protagonists have their own unique suits, so the total number of 67 will most likely be shared between them. Peter might end up having a few more of those since he’s an older character and has amassed many more iconic and easily recognizable visuals over the last 60 years compared to Miles, who was only created in the last decade.

But don’t worry, as Miles will most certainly have a lot of alternative looks, too. Many of the suit designs in the game were said to be original, so we’ll probably be seeing tons of original outfits alongside the usual references to different Spider characters. Good luck collecting them all in this huge New York City!
