Can You Buy Rift Fragments in Dead by Daylight?

Can you just pay your way through the Rift?

Jumping into the world of Dead by Daylight is always a frightening time, but the fear of missing out on an exclusive cosmetic might be even more horrifying. Can you purchase Rift Fragments to zoom through the Pass, or can you only earn them?

Are Rift Fragments Purchasable in Dead by Daylight?

If you’re hoping to get your hands on the cosmetics that are available to you in the Rift, you’re going to need to keep on playing — the ability to purchase Rift Shards is not available here. As a Clown Main myself, I’m kicking myself for not paying more attention to the current season, as I’ll now need to wait and likely purchase the skin that is available when it finally releases onto the store again.

While other games like Fortnite allow players to purchase their way through the Battle Pass, Dead by Daylight players are going to need to work as hard as they can — and snag some codes that give free Rift Fragments when they’re available — to get through as many pages as possible. Thankfully, each pass runs for at least 60 days, so as long as you’re playing every so often, you shouldn’t have an issue powering through all of the different levels.

How To Get More Rift Fragments in Dead by Daylight

The easiest way to get plenty of Rift Fragments is by playing the game and completing matches. If you Disconnect before the match comes to an end — either by being killed as a Survivor or killing all of the Survivors or letting them escape — you won’t receive a single thing from the match that you were just playing.

Players can also check the variety of different Tomes that are available to them, where there are plenty of objectives that can be completed during a match. If you’ve accomplished these tasks, you’ll receive plenty of Blood Points, as well as Rift Fragments that can be used to power up the Battle Pass that you’re trying to complete.

Every once in a while, Amazon Prime Gaming will give Dead by Daylight players rewards that they can redeem in-game. The last few have been Bloodpoints primarily, but we can hold out hope that we’ll eventually get Rift Fragments once again.

No matter if you’re a casual fan or you eat, sleep, and breathe different tech that is available in the game, be sure to keep your eye on our section below to learn more about the game and discover how to use the environment to your advantage in the game.
