So, if you’re worried about eligibility for free content, let’s clear up one thing: no, spending money previously in the store isn’t a requirement, neither does the console that you play on affect your ability to get Modern Warfare free bundles. Still, we won’t stop you from picking up Nikto with some real-world dollars if that’s what you’re after.

It was announced by Activision that a free gift pack would be in the store from December 18 of last year. Almost a fortnight later, players are still finding free bundles in the just For You part of the Store, so we would take advantage of this while you still can. It seems at this point to just be a matter of checking back with the in-game store daily, allowing you to earn anything from the unicorn calling card to rare emblems.

Judging by the community response to these free bundles in the event that they’re not consistently appearing for you, it looks like you can net yourself a bunch of gifts, including the MP5, the FALL calling card, and other emblems. According to the Modern Warfare subreddit, you should be notified that there are free gifts for you to redeem, but once you’ve navigated to the right section of the store, it might take a little repeat navigation i.e. scrolling through the bundles that are on offer before your relevant free one shows up.

Now that you know how to net yourself a Modern Warfare free bundle in the store, it’s just a matter of actually going and doing it. Need a hand with anything else to do with the latest Call of Duty? Check out the following tips and tricks that we’ve put together:
