We would always recommend bringing more guns to a gunfight in Borderlands 3, but what about a gun that also doubles as a deadly, crescent-shaped close-range weapon? Yeah, well, now we’re really getting to the good stuff. Here’s more about the Borderlands 3 Sickle Legendary.

Borderlands 3 Sickle Legendary Guide

So, you’re wanting to pick up the Borderlands 3 Sickle. If you aren’t sure about why the community finds this appealing, well, this Vladof assault rifle packs a punch. Its special weapon effect is called “Swing the sickle” which allows you to do increased projectile damage and lets you fire bullets in the shape of a sickle so that you can literally cut a swathe through your enemies, just with bullets. However, the downside of this is the gun’s reduced fire rate and the fact that it has no alternative fire mode.

The Sickle is a little tough to actually use because of the projectile speed affecting accuracy when you’re trying to keep on top of enemies, so we reckon it’s much better off as a close-range weapon like a shotgun. However, the good thing is that it has AR ammo reserves, so you have a lot more damage pumping out of you before you even need to consider conservation with regards to firepower. Now that you know a little more about the Sickle, it’s time for some information on how to get it. We have both some good news and some bad news here.

You can get the Sickle from any random source of loot in the galaxy. Yes, this extends to random portable toilets in the middle of nowhere and tiny caches just flitting about in Psycho hideouts. However, it also has an increased drop rate from one particular boss on Eden-6. Yes, we’re talking about the Warden (don’t get him mixed up with Graveward, though you’ve likely seen this guide to beating him a ton of times already). If you’re determined to only farm the Borderlands 3 Sickle Legendary and to add that to your collection, then we reckon that you’re far better off just farming The Warden instead of traipsing all around the galaxy and praying that it pops out of someone’s pockets.

Now that you have our Borderlands 3 Sickle Legendary guide, you too can add this Legendary assault rifle to your collection of Things That Go Boom in the Night. Sure, we don’t like that it can drop from pretty much almost anything, but the saving grace is that you can at least focus on farming just one boss if you want to be efficient.
