Borderlands 3 Oldridian Legendary Guide

So, you’re after the Oldridian Legendary. Yes, that’s definitely an Old Gods pun, especially considering the content of the latest Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC that we’ve enjoyed blasting through. There’s no shortage of ways for Vault Hunters to beat back the void, but why not take on something that has the added fun of being a gamble every time you reload? Yes, you heard right. Every time you reload.

The Special Weapon Effect of the Oldridian is called “They bound the ones they knew of. There were more” and what this does is it enables the Oldridian to switch element when you reload it. There’s also an energy shield on the weapon and it reduces elemental damage received by 20% but correspondingly gives you increased damage. The Oldridian can spawn with either Radiation or Cryo as its base elements, and it can also spawn without a base element. We reckon that this submachine gun is pretty dope just because it rolls a different element each reload, forcing you to stay on your toes when it comes to combatting your enemy’s weakness. And also, well, rolling that roulette is pretty fun and the damage increase that it gives you is generally enough for you to mow down your opponents even if you’re not at a strict elemental advantage.

Now that you’ve got what you need to know about the Borderlands 3 Oldridian Legendary, getting it should be fairly easy. At least the drop rate is isolated to the newer content, which is a bit of a relief for those who are tired of just relying on things being spewed out of any loot source – yes, we’re looking at you, The Alchemist (more on getting that weapon in this guide here). Now, if you don’t yet own a copy of Borderlands 3, why not pick one up via this Amazon link and support Prima Games at the same time? We reckon it’s a pretty good deal.
