If you’re wanting to take a bit of a break from the grind in Borderlands 3, then what better way than participating in endless rounds of slaughter? If this sounds up your alley, then you’ll be lucky to note that Borderlands 3 has a bunch of locations called Circles of Slaughter which offer you the chance to do just that. Unsure about the Borderlands 3 Cistern of Slaughter location? We’ll give you a helping hand.
Borderlands 3 Cistern of Slaughter Location Guide
Once you unlock the various Circles of Slaughter, you can hop into them via matchmaking if you want to take them on with a companion. If you’re after the Cistern of Slaughter itself, then you’re going to have to head to Promethea. It’s run by Mr Torque, and your job should you choose to accept it once you find the place, will be to put down some of the most exotic beasts in the galaxy. You’ll be wanting to head to the Meridian Metroplex.
There’s going to be an elevator with someone lurking around who will offer you the sidequest to unlock the Cistern. Unfortunately named, that’s for sure, but this is the only way to get it. Once you get the quest and descend the elevator (south-west of the fast travel station), heading down into the unknown is all you have to do to unlock this particular Circle of Slaughter. Like the rest, you’ll be able to face down five rounds of foes, with the baddies getting stronger with each wave and each round. You have to be a very special kind of murder connoisseur to be able to plow through this, so make sure to hone your skills in the overworld before you kit up for the kill.
Now that you know the location of the Borderlands 3 Cistern of Slaughter, it should be fairly easy for you to find as long as you’re not too navigationally challenged. Need a hand with anything else to do with the Vault Hunting business? Check out the following guides that we’ve put together:
