Black Hole Borderlands 3 Legendary Shield Guide

If you’re wondering what’s so good about the Black Hole Borderlands 3 legendary shield, well, we can probably answer that question for you. The Black Hole is a Legendary nova shield, and when it gets pushed to its limit, it will release a nova that forces enemies away. Pretty cool, right? This is a shield that fans of the franchise might actually recognize from previous games, namely Borderlands 2, though it probably had a different manufacturer back then. The special effect of the Black Hole is “She’s gone from suck to blow” and, as mentioned, it will shoot out a nova that pushes enemies when depleted. The flavor text for this effect is from a movie called Spaceballs, in case you were wondering why it sounded familiar.

The good news about the loot system when it comes to the Black Hole Borderlands 3 legendary shield is that while you still have a chance to find it just by kicking down the door of every bandit hideout in the galaxy, it actually has an increased chance to drop from one boss in particular in the game. This one boss is Wick in Lectra City. If you’re wondering why that sounds familiar, well, we’re not really talking John Wick here. Yes, we mean Wick as in Wick and Warty, as in the Rick and Morty analogs in Borderlands 3. They actually also drop another gun called Phebert, and if you’re wondering how to take them down and how to get that gun, then we’ve actually got a whole separate guide on that that we’ve relinked here for your convenience

Now that you’ve got our Black Hole Borderlands 3 legendary shield guide to hand, it should be a little bit easier for you to pick up this particular bad boy. Considering that it really only has an increased chance to drop from one boss in particular, we reckon it makes farming a whole lot easier. Just chuck on a good playlist and get to it. If you’re wanting to check out the latest DLC that Borderlands 3 has to offer, then why not take a peek at the trailer for it below if you’re still making up your mind on that Deluxe Edition purchase?
