Best Weapons for Each Build in The Finals Season 2

Before you jump into a match of The Finals, it’s always best to have the right loadout and backup gear for the job. Here are the best weapons for each build in The Finals Season 2.

While these are the best weapons for any situation in The Finals Season 2, other weapons can be great in the right hands. It’s important to test out other weapons to ensure another weapon doesn’t feel better to you. Hell, even some of my favorite weapons don’t make this list for one reason or another. With that out of the way, let’s get started:

The Best Light Build Weapons

• XP-54 SMG
• V9S Pistol

When it comes to any of the Specializations you take on Light, the XP-54 and the V9S are almost always excellent. The XP-54 provides great damage in close and mid-range engagements while rewarding tracking of your target as they move extremely fast across the map. The V9S is also great, with the added benefit of not needing to worry about tracking your target as much (even if it helps). The new 93R is also quite strong, but the V9S barely edges it out.

The Best Medium Build Weapons

• AKM Assault Rifle
• R .357 Revolver

Similar to Season 1, The Finals Season 2 sees the AKM and R .357 continue to reign supreme as the best weapons in The Finals. The AKM provides superior sustained damage, with its accuracy being the only drawback compared to something like the FCAR. If you can hit your shots, the R.357 is excellent for taking down targets. The new FAMAS isn’t bad, but given how quickly at a distance it falls off, it isn’t quite as usable.

The Best Heavy Build Weapons

• SA1216 Shotgun
• Lewis Gun
• KS-23 Shotgun

The SA1216 and the Lewis Gun continue to reign high above the rest of the weapons in The Finals thanks to their raw damage outputs for close and mid-long range respectively. However, the new KS-23 has also entered the ring thanks to its versatility in being great at dealing with terrain and being a slug shotgun. This makes it great for Heavy players who don’t want to necessarily go in constantly as most playstyles entail.
