The Mending enchantment is THE enchantment to go for in Minecraft. Why? Because it allows you to power up some of your items, and most importantly, restore (mend) their durability. Yes, you heard us right. You can end the pain of having to remake your stuff after the durability wears out. Prima Games will tell you all about the best and easiest ways to get the Mending Enchantment in Minecraft.
Easiest Ways to Get the Mending Enchantment in Minecraft
Getting the Mending Enchantment in Minecraft is not that simple at first, but it’s damn worth it.
- Looting it randomly in a Chest
There should be a chance of looting a Mending Enchantment in a Chest (but be advised that usually the chests in more difficult areas should be having a better chance of yielding the desired loot, and we’re talking Nether, End city, Stronghold, Dungeon,…). However, that can be a tedious task due to the random chance. - Trading with a Villager
You need to look for a Librarian Villager. If the Librarian Villager does not have it, you can try and “reset” his store by taking away or destroying his Lectern, and then putting it back. You should be able to use the Lectern on a regular Villager to “promote” him into a Librarian Villager. This might be the easiest way when we take into account how much time is needed. Just make sure to imprison the Villager you’re lowkey torturing with this method so that he doesn’t run away. - Fishing
If you are into fishing due to the Zen moment it creates for you as a player, doing it in the Overworld might be the way for you to fish out the Mending Enchantment. However, please be advised that you should power up your fishing rod with enchantments such as Luck of the Sea and Lure. - (In Bedrock Edition Only) Pillager Raids
