Getting the Mending Enchantment in Minecraft is not that simple at first, but it’s damn worth it.

1. Looting it randomly in a Chest
   There should be a chance of looting a Mending Enchantment in a Chest (but be advised that usually the chests in more difficult areas should be having a better chance of yielding the desired loot, and we’re talking Nether, End city, Stronghold, Dungeon,…). 2. Trading with a Villager
