There are two weapons that you’re going to see non-stop on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play. One of those is the TAQ-56 and the other is the Vaznev-9k. In this case, you’re here for the best loadout possible on this elite submachine gun so you can dominate the competition.
What the Vaznevk-9k does well is close-quarters combat with fantastic control and a near-instant TTK in the right circumstances. After the latest nerfs in Season 2 of MW2, the weapon lost some damage range. However, we’re going to focus on building for mobility.
COD MW2 Ranked Play – Best Vaznev-9k Loadout
Depending on your needs for this SMG, the build can be altered in some small amounts. However, the general build should stay the same, especially when you’re up against competitive players looking for that extra SR in Ranked Play. Below you can find all the attachments you need.
- Barrel: None or KAS-1 381mm
- Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
- Underbarrel: Agent Grip
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
- Stock: Otrezat Stock
Starting with the barrel slot, we want to leave this alone. After the nerf to the Vaznev’s damage range, we don’t want to make it any worse. Some players will swear by the KAS though, and we have it listed if you feel you need that fifth attachment in MW2.
Next, we have our control-based pieces. Both the Bruen Pendulum muzzle and the Agent Grip underbarrel are going to assist in recoil control. The Agent Grip, in particular, will boost our hip fire accuracy as well, so you’ll have an added accuracy boost as you ADS.

The last two attachments are the True-Tac Grip rear grip and the Otrezat Stock, which we use purely for the mobility boosts. All Vaznev-9k players know the weapon is perfect for speed and we want to retain that attribute in Ranked Play for Modern Warfare 2 as well.
