Aside from the Vanguard PPSh-41, the Type 100 is one of the best submachine guns in the current Warzone Season 5 meta. Despite the low capacity in the magazine options, the weapon has enough damage and versatility to warrant a primary weapon slot.
In the past few seasons, the Type 100 was phased out due to the oversaturation in the class and the lack of ammo. The Marco 5 and the Armaguerra were pushed down the meta ladder though, and it opened up the path for new options. Our guide will show you exactly how to build the best Type loadout to take advantage of the shifting meta.
Warzone Season 5 – Best Type 100 Loadout
Because of the low magazine capacity, we don’t want to focus on range versatilty. Close range builds are always the way to go for this submachine gun, and even then, there are still a couple of ways to reframe the loadout. In this build, we are going to focus on fast paced gameplay that allows you to push enemy teams with ease. All of the attachments you need are listed below.
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: Warubachi 134mm Rapid
- Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
- Rear Grip: Taped Grip
- Stock: Warubachi Grip Folding
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Magazine: .30 Russian Short 36 Round Mags
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Perk 1: Fleet
- Perk 2: Quick
The first piece of the loadout is the Recoil Booster, which is a standard attachment for nearly any close range Vanguard submachine gun. Recoil Boosters will increase the fire rate of the weapon while decreasing some of the overall stability, but not by much. Weapons like the Type 100 need the fire rate boost to help that DPS soar.
Next is the Warubuchi 134mm Rapid barrel, and this is another slot reserved for additional fire rate. Not only will the Type get more DPS with this barrel, but the damage range increases as well. In the process of equipping the Warubachi, we’re going to lose some accuracy and ADS speed, but those can be adjusted with some support.

There are three support attachments for the best Type 100 loadout in Warzone Season 5 that all assist in handling and control. You’ll need the M1930 Strife Angled underbarrel, the Taped Grip, and the Warubachi Grip Folding to complete the build. The folding stock in particular is popular across the class and will provide a ton of aim walking stats. Both grips will help with stability and weapon swapping.
Our last integral portion of the loadout is geared towards the ammunition needed for a close range build. Lengthened and Subsonic ammo are both viable, but the extra velocity always helps. As for the Magazine, the .30 Russian Short 36 Round Mags are the best. They increase damage, range, can help with capacity. Only the PPSh-41 will be able to keep up.
