Spirits are an integral tool in combat within Black Myth: Wukong to help players cause a little extra damage during the heat of the many battles. Here are some of the best Spirits to use in Black Myth: Wukong.

Best Spirits to Use in Black Myth Wukong

Spirits allow players to briefly transform into another being that they have defeated before. The transformation deals out a simple attack or buff, then disappears just as quickly. Players can also upgrade their Spirits at the Keeper’s Shrines under the Cultivate Spirits option with Will and other resources. These are a couple of Spirits to use that can complement in battle.

Wandering Wight

The Wandering Wight is one of the first Spirits players come across and is a hefty one by ramming head first into foes. It is a great one to get early, but the boss does disappear if players skip it and ring the three bells before fighting it.

Guangmou

Guangmou is also a great early Spirit by spawning poison-shooting snakes. The poison builds up in enemies and can slowly chip away at their health bar even after the snakes have left. Upgrading it can spawn even more snakes.

Tiger’s Acolyte

The Tiger’s Acolyte is a simple Spirit that cuts down an enemy with a sword attack. It may not sound like much, but a critical hit can cause a good chunk of damage. The Tiger’s Acolyte is a Chapter 2 boss found on a narrow bridge near the Windrest Hamlet Keeper’s Shrine.

Rat Archer

The Rat Archer uses a crossbow to shoot several arrows from afar. This Chapter 2 Spirit is great for taking out enemies from a distance as opposed to others on the list. The Spirit also boosts thunder damage that can be taken advantage of.

Earth Wolf

The Earth Wolf is an optional Chapter 2 boss that can charge enemies and cause them to fall over. It is a bit more focused than the Wandering Wight Spirit and can stun foes to get more follow-up hits after transforming back.
