Psychubes are the most crucial aspect of a character build in Reverse: 1999, and the best ones will significantly improve a character’s damage output and healing. Here are the best Psychubes you should use and how they work in Reverse: 1999.
How Do Psychubes Work in Reverse: 1999?
Psychubes are like gear pieces usually found in RPGs, providing bonus points to character attributes and might even have unique characteristics. In Reverse: 1999, these Psychubes have different rarities similar to the characters, with 6-star being the highest.Â
You can purchase them from the Psychube shop with in-game currency earned from completing side-story content or through event shops. Like any other system in the game, it’s possible to upgrade your Psychubes to improve their stats and passives by sacrificing other Psychubes or spending rare materials.
Based on a Psychube’s rarity, it can only be improved so far before hitting a cap, meaning 6-star Psychubes will naturally be the best ones since you’ll get the most out of their high levels.
The Best Psychubes in Reverse: 1999
Through my time playing the global version of Reverse: 1999, the best Psychubes for most characters to use are Brave New World, Her Second Life, Hopscotch, and Luxurious Leisure. Below is a rundown of their max level stats and passives:
- Brave New World: 370 ATK, 2,200 HP, 200 Reality DEF, 150 Mental DEF, and 18% Ultimate Might. Passive: After the caster uses an Ultimate, the Incantation Might of the next Incantation is +40%.
- Her Second Life: 340 ATK, 2,800 HP, 120 Reality DEF, 120 Mental DEF, 10% ATK. Passive: After the caster uses a mass Ultimate, HP+(the caster’s ATK x64%) for all allies.
- Hopscotch: 370 ATK, 2,200 HP, 150 Reality DEF, 200 Mental DEF, and 18% Incantation Might. Passive: For each enemy defeated by the caster, Ultimate Might +8% for the caster and can stack up to four times.
- Luxurious Leisure: 380 ATK, 2,200 HP, 170 Reality DEF, 170 Mental DEF, and 18% Ultimate Might. Passive: After the caster uses a single-target Ultimate, damage dealt increases by 9% and can stack up to three times.
I’d recommend shooting for these first before investing in others. Of course, it won’t be easy to get your hands on these early into the gacha RPG. Thankfully, Reverse: 1999 provides plenty of repeatable side content that gives you enough to buy most of what you need within two to three months.
