The best Necromancer build for Diablo 4 during Season 4 is the Infinimist Necromancer build. While most of the changes for Necromancer in Season 4 have focused on increasing the strength of its minions, this tried-and-true build sacrifices your undead army for high survivability and area-of-effect damage.

Most of the abilities you will need will work in tandem with each other, creating a loop of constant damage and ability cooldowns. Blood Mist allows you to briefly turn invincible, move faster, and automatically cause corpses to explode with shadow damage thanks to a few aspects.

The Bone Storm ultimate will also cause shadow damage, while Decrepify can reduce cooldowns when Lucky Hit activates. Corpse Tendrils is needed to group enemies together and apply Vulnerable, and ‍Corpse Explosion can be used manually to quickly take out large groups quickly.

Players just starting out should use the Reap basic ability while leveling for easy corpse making, then switch to Blight for bigger damage and better Lucky Hit chance. Players should also temper their gear towards increasing Crippling Darkness and damage to Cursed enemies for even greater damage.

Legendary Aspects greatly affect the Infinimist Necromancer build for increased shadow damage and Changing Blood Mist into a floating death cloud. Here are all the Legendary Aspects necessary for the build and how to get them:

  • Blighted – Akkan’s Grasp in Hawezar
  • Blood-Soaked – Salvage gear with Aspect
  • Damned – Uldur’s Cave in Kehjistan
  • Explosive Mist – Salvage gear with Aspect
  • Ghostwalker – Broken Bulwark in Scosglen
  • Grasping Veins – Corrupted Grotto in Kehjistan
  • Hardened Bones – Salvage gear with Aspect
  • Shielding Storm – Salvage gear with Aspect
  • Ultimate Shadow – Salvage gear with Aspect

The build is very Aspect-heavy and will only require one Unique item, the X’Fal’s Corroded Signet from Duriel or new boss Andariel. The X’Fal’s Corroded Signet is a centerpiece for the build as it just generally increases all damage.
