Along with two other new weapons in the Season 1 update, we’re getting our first new assault rifle in Modern Warfare 2. The first new AR addition is the M13B which is one of the base game weapons from MW 2019. Needless to say, it was known for its deadly accuracy.
While the weapon may be tied to objectives in the DMZ, it’s absolutely worth picking up for the control and versatility the AR still has. Once you get it for yourself, the goal is to build a perfect setup to crush players in CQB or at range. We’ll go over all the attachments you need to make the most of the M13B in MW2.
Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 – Best M13B Loadout
With just the base stats, the M13 has some great control and is fantastic up close due to its high fire rate. But we can adjust those strengths even further to make this something similar to the M4. Below, you can find each and every attachment to complete your own loadout.
- Receiver: M13B
- Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon
- Muzzle: FTAC Castle Comp
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
- Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip
- Stock: Ravage-8
Our main attachment for bullet velocity and damage range is the 14″ Bruen Echelon barrel. Along with recoil control, this is going to solidify the M13B as a standout AR. Add the FTAC Castle Comp muzzle as well and you have a recipe for a weapon that can easily beam from range.

Next, we need the Merc Foregrip. This is another attachment meant for recoil control, but it serves a double purpose. We want the hip fire accuracy to go higher so more shots land as we aim in. Make sure to fire as you ADS so the extra damage is confirmed.
The last two pieces are based entirely on mobility so that the M13B doesn’t end up too slow in Modern Warfare 2. Having the Bruen Flash Grip and the Ravage-8 will ensure that we waste no time trying to ADS or reach the sprint-to-fire aim point.
