Best FR Avancer Loadout in MW2 Season 5

The FFAR is back!

With the launch of Season 5 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, players can get their hands on the FR Avancer assault rifle, which is essentially the FFAR from Black Ops Cold War. This AR has a high fire rate with a ton of mid-range potential, and I have the best FR Avancer loadout for you in MW2 Multiplayer.

MW2 Season 5 – Best FR Avancer Attachments

Like many of the other seasonal assault rifles, the FR Avancer has some unique attachments that make it tougher to build than the default MW2 weapons. With that in mind, we need to focus on the speed of the Avancer and ensure that we have some extra control to back it up at mid-range.

Best FR Avancer Loadout in MW2:

  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Rear Grip: RMT Grip
  • Laser: Schlager PEQ Box IV
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro

Our two main control attachments are the Komodo Heavy muzzle and the FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel. On most other assault rifles, we could use a barrel for recoil control as well. However, the Avancer attachments don’t give us that choice, and we have to rely on these two pieces instead.

Because the FR is best used at mid or close range, we want some speed as well. Both the Schlager PEQ Box IV laser and the RMT Grip are great ways to increase the ADS speed of the weapon. You can’t use this in ranked, so the laser isn’t an issue.

The last attachment is the Cronen Mini Pro optic. Not only is it a great way to help with accuracy, but the visual recoil will feel less intense as well. Without the barrel attachment, you’re going to want the extra help in MW2.

The FR Avancer isn’t the only new weapon this season. Get the full list of Season 5 weapons you can expect in MW2.
