The Best Barbarian Build for Diablo Immortal in Season 8

If you’ve checked out our tier list for the best Diablo Immortal classes, you’ll know that the Barbarian is S-Tier in both Overworld and Battlegrounds. It’s a class that’s capable of soaking up and dealing damage in equal measure and the sheer survivability is of the charts.

There’s one build that’d a fan favorite of the class and it’s the “Spin to Win” or Whirlwind build. The concept is simple: spin, deal damage, and win. Here’s everything you need to know.

Skills

  • Lacerate – Launch a series of attacks that deal 2466 to 3551 damage with each hit. Every third hit heals you for 15% of the damage done.
  • Whirlwind – Become a whirlwind of steel, continually striking all nearby enemies for 836 damage while moving at 70% reduced speed. Using Whirlwind slowly consumes its energy, which recovers while Whirlwind is not in use. Cooldown: 0.5 sec.
  • Frenzy – Launch a frenzied attack for 2280 damage. Each hit increases Frenzy’s attack speed by 8% for 3 sec, stacking up to 5 times.
  • Demoralize – Release a ferocious shout that forces nearby monsters to attack you. Also deals 1614 damage to all nearby enemies and reduces their damage done by 30%. Lasts 8 sec. Cooldown: 16 sec.
  • Sprint – Increase your movement speed by 50% for 4.5 sec. While active, you may move unhindered through enemies, and you are immune to movement impairing effects. Cooldown: 8 sec.
  • Wrath of the Berserker – Enter a berserker rage that increases your attack speed by 50% and movement speed by 20% for 6.5 sec. Cooldown: 30 sec.

Equipment

  • Main Hand – The Tempest –Whirlwind radius increased, causing X damage with each hit, but movement speed reduced to 40%.
  • Offhand – The Remebered – Hammer of the Ancients now summons a Spirit of the Ancients who stuns all nearby enemies and then fights beside you for a while.
  • Helm – Second Breath – Sprint duration increased by 30%.
  • Shoulder – The Coming Storm – Wrath of the Berserker cooldown decreased by 15%.
  • Pants – Juggernaut’s Plan – Sprint now causes you to run continuously, knocking away and damaging enemies in your path.
  • Chest: The Gathering – Whirlwind pulls in all enemies it damages.

Put it altogether and you’ll have a build that makes your skill, the Whirlwind, a cyclone of pain.

The Best Crusader Build for Diablo Immortal in Season 8

The Crusader tends to lean a bit more supportive and cooperative than the Barbarian, but it’s still possible to pump up those damage numbers. This build utilizes the Crusader’s high mobility and survivability with a focus on the skill Draw and Quarter, which is particularly helpful if you’re playing solo.

This build then breaks down into two phases. The first phase will involve self-buffs with Consecration or Spinning Shield and is then followed by the mobility-damage phase which focuses on Draw and Quarter.

Skills

  • Punish – Strike an enemy for 945 to 1134 damage and gain Hardened Senses, increasing your Block Chance by 30% for 2 seconds.
  • Draw and Quarter – Mount a celestial war horse for 5 seconds, dispelling all movement impairing effects, increasing your movement speed by 60%, and replacing your Primary Attack. Holy chains will bind up to 6 nearby monsters, dragging them as you ride and repeatedly dealing 338 damage.
  • Spinning Shield – Hurl a spinning shield, inflicting 831 damage to all enemies in its path. The shield will return, pulling enemies in its path to you and dealing an additional 554 damage. Maximum 3 charges. Players can only be affected by Spinning Shield once every 3 seconds.
  • Consecration – Consecrate the ground around you, dealing 3324 damage to all nearby enemies over 6 seconds.
  • Falling Sword – Impale your holy sword at a location where it deals 1226 damage over 5 seconds to all nearby enemies. Activate again to launch yourself into the heavens and come crashing down at the sword’s location, dealing 1270 damage to all nearby enemies and retrieving the sword.

  • Legs – Bladed Jambeau – Draw and Quarter’s mount becomes a fiery steed that Burns the ground and enemies, but no longer drags enemies.

The Best Monk Build for Diablo Immortal in Season 8

Like the Barbarian and Crusader, the Monk is a class that must be close-range to score the big hits. But the Monk isn’t a tank and can’t soak up damage like our heavy-armored classes. Instead, the Monk makes up for this with incredible mobility. It’s this mobility that makes the Monk one of the most fun classes to play. And it’s a class that even recently got a buff to its auto-attack.

But if you want to see how far it can go, the Seven-Sided Strike build is a fantastic choice. It focuses on killing speed and movement, with half of the skills being movement-based. With this build, the Monk draws aggro by entering the radius of enemies and, once you have a sufficient number focused on you, you can then obliterate those enemies with Exploding Palm.

Skills

  • Fists of Thunder – Teleport to a nearby enemy and unleash a rapid succession of punches that each deal 2209 to 3534 damage. You can teleport after every third strike
  • Seven-Sided Strike – Dash rapidly between nearby enemies, striking 7 times for 1260 damage per hit. Additional hits on the same target deal 50% as much damage.
  • Exploding Palm – Attack enemies in a direction dealing 525 damage and marking them with Exploding Palm Technique, causing them to Bleed for additional damage every second for 5 seconds. Enemies that die while marked will explode for 970 damage to all nearby enemies. Enemies can only be hit by 5 explosions within 1 second and starting with explosion 2 they only take 30% damage from each subsequent hit. Maximum 2 charges.
  • Cyclone Strike – Generate a vortex of wind, which pulls in enemies and deals 882 damage. Charging longer increases range, and damage up to 1124.
  • Mystic Strike – Dash forward 4.5 yards and leave a spirit behind that will return, pulling all enemies in its path to you and dealing 945 damage. A player can only be pulled once every 3 seconds. Maximum 3 charges.

The Best Necromancer Build for Diablo Immortal in Season 8

The Necromancer is a summons class that brings to the field undead minions and environmental hazards. I might be biased, as someone who first rolled Necromancer, but there’s no denying that this class has the highest damage potential in PvE in the game, as well as fantastic utility with both crowd control and shielding. But in PvP, Necromancer has grown even more deadly, not only because of its utility but because of a newly added main hand. This build focuses primarily on defeating enemies as quickly as possible while maintaining high momentum, which makes it excellent for bounties and solo content.

The Necromancer can be absolutely bone-chilling with how deadly it can be on the field with the right build. Here’s how to send your opponents to an early grave.

  • Command Golem – Summon a bone golem for 24 seconds. When summoned, it will deal 1050 damage to all nearby enemies and Stun them for 2 seconds. While it is active, you can order the golem to leap to a nearby location, where it will deal 367 damage and force all nearby monsters to attack it for 6 seconds.
  • Bone Armor – Protect yourself and nearby allies with a shield of bones that absorbs 3402 damage for 12 seconds.
