Best Bleed Build in Elden Ring

Bleed them out with this Elden Ring build.

One of the most effective builds to have in Elden Ring is the bleed build, which causes enemies to continually lose health after being hit. Considering the difficulty of the game, a bleed build would be perfect for those looking to slice down bosses with only a few hits.

Best Elden Ring Bleed Build

The main idea behind the bleed build in Elden Ring is to cause damage over time, where the health of the enemy keeps draining shortly after the initial damage. So, players should be equipping gear that offers or enhances the Blood Loss status condition.

Best Elden Ring Weapons for Bleed

There are a few weapons that are great for the bleed build because they can cause the Blood Loss status condition. The best starting weapon for the build is the Uchigatana, which does not require much Dexterity to wield and can be infused with the Blood variant at the Blacksmith. It can also be paired with the Bloody Slash Ashes of War, which is extremely effective at causing Blood Loss at the expense of FP.

Other weapons that players can get later in the game for the build include Eleanora’s Poleblade and Rivers of Blood, though the latter can be found towards the end of the game. Another great bleed weapon found somewhat early is the Reduvia dagger, though is earned by defeating the tough Bloody Finger Nerijus.

Best Elden Ring Gear for Bleed

Players can use whatever armor they like, though heavy armor is preferred for better defense against attacks. The only piece that is required for the bleed build is the White Mask helm, which will increase damage against any enemies suffering from Blood Loss.

There are a couple of key Talismans that are necessary for the build. The Lord of Blood’s Exultation Talisman raises attack power by 20% for 20 seconds when Blood Loss occurs nearby.

The Winged Sword Insignia Talisman increases attack power with successive attacks, so multiple hits with cause better damage with each hit. The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia earned later in the game does the same with a larger increase.

Millicent’s Prosthesis also has the same effect but increases Dexterity as well. The final Talisman for the build is the Shard of Alexander, which increases the attack power of Skills by 15% and is perfect for the Bloody Slash or Corpse Plier Skills.
