Best ACR 6.8 Loadout in XDefiant

Someone finally brought this icon back.

We all loved the ACR in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and it’s been a long time since any game has replicated the iconic assault rifle. XDefiant aims to give FPS fans what they’ve been craving for years now, and that goes along with the addition of the ACR 6.8 AR.

The 6.8 is clearly the most dominant assault rifle that players can currently pick up in XDefiant, and the competition isn’t really close. Other options like the M4A1 are still good, but not the same kind of laser beam we have here. This guide will go over the best build for your 6.8 and all the attachments required.

XDefiant – Best ACR 6.8 Loadout and Attachments

When I use the ACR 6.8, I like to keep the same standard frame that I would use for all assault rifles. That means utilizing some of the basic recoil control attachments and letting the base stats do most of the talking. There will be some support attachments as well, but they won’t offer up any negatives to the weapon. You can find all the necessary attachments below.

ACR 6.8 Loadout XDefiant:

  • Barrel: Recon
  • Front Rail: Handstop
  • Optics: Reflex
  • Magazine: Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip: Grip Tape

Two of the attachments listed are going to help boost the recoil control and accuracy of the rifle. Both the Handstop and the Grip Tape slot will help with vertical recoil control and base recovery so there isn’t much kick to worry about. I’ve tested these out on other weapons like the M4A1 as well and they always work. Add the Recon barrel to the mix and now you have some ADS speed to balance out the build.

Next, we want to add a Reflex optic and the Quick Mag. These two attachments have no negatives for the ACR 6.8 in XDefiant and the Quick Mag is especially powerful. It doesn’t just make reload speeds faster. The mags will also add ammo capacity so you can go on some easy streaks with fewer worries.
