Assassin’s Creed Mirage: How Long To Beat the Game? – Answered

Straight for the kill

The newest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is here, and the game’s back to its roots. After years of deviating from its origins, Mirage brings straight-up stealth-focused gameplay for those who weren’t the biggest fans of the RPG elements that were introduced in the other recent games. But how long will it take for fans to conclude this immersive dive into the story of Basim?

How Long is Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

Your journey in Assassin’s Creed Mirage will take about 15 to 20 hours to complete. This can be extended to 25 to 30 hours if you’re going for a completionist run. It might feel a bit small for some, but I personally feel like this is an ideal length to avoid dragging out the story too much. This is way less than Valhalla, where people clocked around 60 hours just to see the credits roll for the first time.

The sidequests do increase your playtime a bit more, but it’s just on a smaller margin. While they could effectively double your play time in the previous titles, they only add a small portion of content to Mirage. Again, it’s still a huge extra to the base game, but it’s just not as much as you would usually expect from Ubisoft. For those reminiscent of the calmer, younger days when we wouldn’t ever imagine getting over 100 hours in our silly assassin game, this might be the best news you would get in a long time.

Sometimes less means more, which was precisely the approach they took when designing Mirage. It was only supposed to be a DLC, after all, so being on the smaller side makes complete sense. But I’m particularly glad that it went this way because sometimes we want to get done with a game without investing over 40 hours of our lives in it.
