Armed and Dangerous Destiny 2 Guide: Iron Banner Quest Walkthrough

To get to the Armed and Dangerous part of the proceedings, you’re going to have to have already finished the Test of Strength portion of the Iron Banner quest from Saladin. We have a guide that covers that off if you’re not sure about what to do.

Essentially, what you need to do for Armed and Dangerous is to capture zones and earn Power Plays as part of your Iron Banner team. This seems pretty straightforward, and that’s because it is. Our hot tip would be to make sure that you’ve got everyone clued in to the fact that you’re trying to knock out this quest; the more mates you’ve got sitting on a point, the more points you’ll get. If you can avoid matching with randoms, then you’ve honestly got this in the bag because you can herd them like a bunch of rowdy cats and cap these zones in the quickest way possible.

Finishing the Armed and Dangerous Destiny 2 subquest and returning to Saladin upon completion (like you have to do for every task in the Iron Banner line) should give you the Iron Banner gauntlets so you can tick one piece of armor off your list before you embark on the rest. The other steps in the questline are:

  • Light It Up – get kills from super, grenade, and melee abilities
  • Non-Stop – get kills with auto rifles, scout rifles, fusion rifles, sniper rifles, and swords
  • Headstrong – complete Iron Banner matches and preferably win them

Now that you’ve got our Armed and Dangerous Destiny 2 guide in hand, we’d recommend making sure that you’re well-prepared to make the leap into the new content when Shadowkeep comes out. If you’re not sure how to migrate over from the Battle.net interface to Steam, our Destiny 2 PC move guide should help answer any burning questions.
