The infants update in The Sims 4 was recently released this March, and some exciting perks came with it. Additions like science babies, more cribs and a bunch of toys are just some of the new items we’ll find alongside, of course, the new infant life stage! However, as you dig around the build menu, you may have a hard time spotting changing tables. If you’d like to learn more, continue reading to discover whether there are changing tables for your infants in The Sims 4.

Are There Baby Changing Tables in The Sims 4?

When you look at all the new items in build mode for the Sims 4 infant update, you’ll notice furniture like the travel crib, baby fence and various decorations. Unfortunately, changing tables is not among the new additions to the base game.

Instead, if you want to change your infant Sim, your adult character will lift the baby in the air and do this automatically. A dirty diaper will appear on the floor, which you can manually drag into a garbage bin or have one of your Sims clean it up.

Even though changing tables did not come with the free infant update, this doesn’t mean we’ll never see them. Interestingly enough, you’ll get the chance to see them soon in the Growing Together expansion pack.

The Growing Together expansion pack, releasing on March 16, 2023, introduces multiple changing tables, including one you can attach to the wall. While this means that, yes, The Sims 4 will have changing tables soon, you’ll have to purchase a pack to access them.
