Anger Foot’s second major boss fight, The Sludge Baron, takes us to the depths of the sewer after taking on the pollution gang. This fight is a bit harder than the first one, with multiple phases requiring different strategies. Here is how you can beat The Sludge Baron in Anger Foot.
Anger Foot Boss Guide: The Sludge Baron
The Sludge Baron has three phases, each with new attacks and limitations.
Recommended Shoes for The Sludge Baron
By this fight, players should have unlocked multiple shoes, however, we still highly recommend one of the earlier unlocks called Holy Sandals. This is especially useful against boss fights since a pool of acid surrounds you and you can die pretty easily if you’re not careful.
Other shoes that can be useful are:
- Revengers
- Thrusters
Phase One: The Sludge Baron
During the first phase, The Sludge Baron will perform two types of attacks. First, he will wind up and do a smash attack, which you can avoid by walking to either side before impact.
Wait for the moment he’s stunned while doing the smash attack, and you can start kicking away.
He will also do a spin attack which you can easily avoid by simply pressing the jump button when it comes under you.
After that, the platforms around it will be pushed away, and The Unflushable will emerge.
Phase Two: The Unflushable
You can’t directly damage The Unflushable and will have to wait till it throws an explosive barrel towards you. Kick that back to deal tons of damage.
It will start throwing garbage at you, which can be easily dodged if you pick a direction and simply move either left or right and follow the path. During this phase, you’ll also see explosive enemies that can be kicked towards The Unflushable as well.
Regular enemies that can pull you towards themselves will also appear, but you can just kick them while you’re on the move.
After you’re done with this phase, the entire Baron will emerge and swallow you whole, and you’ll have to face off against The Filth Mind.
Phase Three: The Filth Mind
This is the easiest part of the boss fight, and you can keep kicking The Filth Mind, which is a flying brain enemy. Keep an eye out for when it goes below the liquid surface, and continue kicking and shooting at it with the shotgun till it’s dead.
Multiple enemies will drop dead from above, so you can pick up their shotguns to finish it off.
