There are a total of 35 units that you can slowly seduce befriend. By plying them with gifts, you’ll increase your friendship rating with them, thus unlocking more bonuses and abilities that you’ll undoubtedly find useful on the battlefield. As for how to get gifts, your early game opportunities are essentially random junk you find on the floor.
