Focus on Fishing
There is incredible depth to fishing in Stardew Valley. Standard fishing pole fish such as Pufferfish, Catfish, and Sturgeon can sell for up to 600 G each if you have the Angler Profession—and they aren’t even the priciest ones. You can also put even more rare fish in your fishing pond to obtain helpful resources. Even the less valuable fish can add up, making fishing worth your while when trying to rack up the Gold.
The 1.6 update also adds some new, game-changing ways to earn money quickly in Stardew Valley. One such addition is the Meadowlands Farm, which starts you off with two chickens, giving you access to eggs and mayonnaise. You can sell the mayo to work your way up to the Legend hidden achievement, or you can drink it—a worthy alternative.
