Sparkle is one of the new characters introduced in the Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 update serving as one of the main stars of the show in the Penacony introductory patch. She’s also the second playable Masked Fool in the game and happens to also be the meanest girl around.
All Required Materials for Sparkle in Honkai: Star Rail
Being a 5-star Quantum Harmony character, Sparkle brings tons of incredible buffs to her team, with special bonuses when running any variation of the already-popular Mono-Quantum composition. But her seemingly limitless extra SP generation can be used by many different characters, as long as she’s leveled enough.
Ascension Materials
- x65 Dream Flamer
- x15 Tathers of Thought
- x15 Fragments of Impression
- x15 Shards of Desires
- x888,000 Credits
- x290 Traveler’s Guide
2.0 characters use different materials from those introduced in previous versions, so Sparkle exclusively uses Penacony-only materials. Tatters of Thought and its evolutions are obtained from Memory Zone Meme enemies, which are found in the dream sections of Penacony.
As for the Dream Flamers, you can get these by defeating the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Roast boss in Dream’s Edge. The secret is to fill the boss’ gauge as quickly as possible, so bring any characters that can easily break its Toughness to make quick work of it.
Trace Materials
- x18 Firmament Note
- x69 Celestial Selection
- x139 Heavenly Melody
- x41 Tathers of Thought
- x56 Fragments of Impression
- x58 Shards of Desires
- x12 Past Evils of the Borehole Planet Disaster
- x8 Tracks of Destiny
- x3,000,000 Credits
There’s also a new Harmony Calyx for 2.0 characters located in The Reverie (Dreamscape). Erudition characters like Jing Yuan, Herta, and Argenti will have an easier time cleaning those out with their AoE abilities, and since you’ll be farming those for a long time, you better come prepared with a good team for those.
As for the new items required, the Echoes of War needed this time is the Borehole Planet’s Old Crater in the Seclusion Zone in Herta Space Station. Ice, Physical, and Imaginary characters are the best for this stage, and it should be your main target for farming for a while, as any upcoming characters will use its materials for a good while.
There are other methods to get some of the items, such as Simulated Universe and events, but you’ll still need some heavy farming at the end of the day. Luckily, Penacony is filled with hopes, dreams and a definitely-not-tragic storyline, so farming most of Sparkle items won’t be as boring as it sounds. It just takes time, but she’s worth your effort.
