In total, you will find nine side quests in Akila City. Now, that’s not counting the various miscellaneous quests, like delivering letters or tackling jobs on the mission board, only the genuinely handcrafted quest content.
Defensive Measures

In Defensive Measures, you will help Keoni Alpin and Davis Wilson in a dispute over how best to deal with the Ashta threatening Akila City outside the walls. Alpin wants to take a more modern, technological approach to managing the alien threat. Davis, on the other hand, would rather stick with tried-and-true methods, like training the guard and keeping the wall standing strong.
False Positives

Leader of the Pack

Mayor Cartwright finds himself in a predicament in Last Will and Testament. He would like to keep Akila City within its founders’ grasp, but one family failed to provide an heir for their manor. The mayor will ask you to retrieve the last will and testament of Sahar Hasanov to determine who really owns the manor in town.
The Great Laredo Caper

It’s unfortunate, but someone is robbing the local Laredo Arms in The Great Laredo Caper. A group of children standing around outside of the gunshop have a lead, and they want your help in tracking down and apprehending the criminal. So, you’ll need to wait until midnight strikes and then hit up the local Laredo Shooting Range to find the culprit.
Charity of the Wolf

Over at the Low House, you’ll find Amira Wolf, a young woman needing a helping hand in Charity of the Wolf. At first, it’s simple. You must restart the farming equipment outside the city. But the problem escalates when Ashtas appear and attack. Afterward, you will need to solicit donations from many of the local vendors and politicians in Akila City to help the Low House.

In Beer Run, Sarah believes her husband has a winning farming operation that could feed all of the Freestar Collective and not just Akila City. She asks you to sabotage the latest batch to burn his side gig to the ground so that he’ll focus on the family operation instead.
Rough Landings

You will find Marko Jansen lounging in The Stretch, near the Low House, and he needs help with his family in the United Colonies. His wife’s cousin, Milena Alexrod, is aboard The Dalliance, but it comes under attack by Crimson Fleet soon after you jump into the system. A bit of space combat, some persuasion, and a little bit of travel will see you through Rough Landings.
Blast Zone

Mr. Tate, the local realtor, requires a hand in clearing out Hard Rock on his land in Blast Zone. You’ll need a cutter to tackle this mundane work, which amounts to nothing more than landscaping. But for your efforts, Tate will pay you a tidy sum, and you’ll earn some experience points, too.
