The purpose of carrying out these Special Requests is for game completion, getting some experience bonuses for the crew and nabbing a few achievements or trophies or whatever along the way. So here’s how to find every Secret Diary, of which there are five.

Secret Diary #1: Big Apple, 3PM

It’s the same level you find Irma in, so it makes sense there’s one here and not in the first stage. This item is next to a car, following the part when a few Foot soldiers attack you from a small platform.

Secret Diary #2: Rumble in the Zoo

There’s a whole lot going on in this zoo area, which really makes me question what kind of budget the local government is providing. They can’t even control their monkeys and stop them from throwing stuff at people! This Secret Diary is next to a bench fairly early in the Episode.

Secret Diary #3: King of the Spill

Honestly the best way to find all this garbage is to break everything you see. Especially when there are so many things you can break. But in any case, down in the sewers you’ll be able to find a Secret Diary next to a vending machine.

Secret Diary #4: Mall Meltdown

The fourth Secret Diary is found right after you enter the building, in the kitchen area ahead of that extremely depressing taco stand. Even robot ninjas have to work multiple jobs in this economy.

Secret Diary #5: Roof Running Reptiles!

The final Secret Diary is on the rooftop! Whait, what do you mean “which one?” Can’t you tell from the screenshot? Look for the pink light tube signage and the totally trustworthy bridge made of wood boards. Just look, I don’t know how else to describe it:

Finally! It takes a bit to find all of these, but you haven’t even gotten to the hard stuff yet. Eventually we’re gonna graduate from breaking conspicuous boxes and furniture to punching background art. Yeah, fun times are ahead.
