Resident Evil 4 Remake has finally gained the addition of Mercenaries mode as a free update from Capcom. This mode allows players to run through a few scenarios as they try to defeat up to 150 enemies within the time limit. Using limited resources and characters to make the most of their run. Here are all of the Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries mode unlocks and rewards.

All Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries Mode Unlocks and Rewards

When you boot up Mercenaries mode for the first time, all you will have unlocked is Leon Kennedy and The Village map. As you play rounds of Mercenaries, you will unlock the following playable characters and maps.

Characters

  • Leon
  • Luis
  • Krauser
  • Hunk

Maps

  • The Village
  • The Castle
  • The Island

After unlocking all of the maps and characters, there is one more reward to unlock. If you receive an S rank or higher on all three maps, you will unlock the Handcannon for your campaign playthroughs. This can also be unlocked by beating the game on Professional difficulty. If you haven’t done that yet, though, you will unlock the Handcannon when getting an S rank on all three maps.

You can get an S rank on a map by getting a score of 200,000 points or greater.
