137 Pals, and five to reign supreme. Here’s how to find all legendary Pals in Palworld.
All Legendary Pal Locations in Palworld, Listed
Palworld has no shortage of Pals, from variants to Alphas. But five Pals are head and shoulder above the rest, both in strength and rarity. Here are the locations of all five legendary Pals in Palworld.
Pal | Pal Location |
---|---|
Frostallion | Astral Mountain |
Frostallion Noct | Obtainable through breeding |
Jetragon | Mount Obsidian |
Paladius | Deep Sand Dunes |
Necromus | Deep Sand Dunes |
How to Find Frostallion in Palworld
Frostallion is first on the list for one reason – it makes catching Jetragon, another legendary on the list, much easier.
To find Frostallion, head to the snow-covered island of Astral Mountain to the far north. You have two options then. You can go directly north from the Pristine Snow Field waypoint, which can be found on the southern shore of the Astral Mountain Island. Doing so will require you braving quite a few mountain ranges.
Either way, you’ll eventually hit an icy lake where Frostallion had made its domain. The lake dominates much of the area, making Frostallion easy to find once you get within range. But Frostallion is no easy mark. At level 50, it’s extremely powerful and only the best Pal Metal Armor and shields are recommended. Likewise, as a pure ice type, Fire-type Pals will do best against it. Jormundi Ignis can tank against its attacks and do some devastating damage while you whittle away its health.
How to Get Frostallion Noct in Palworld
Once you have Frostallion, you can breed yourself your very own Frostallion Noct.
Frostallion Noct can only be made with the following partnerships:
- Frostallion x Helzephyr
- Frosatllion Noct x Frostallion Noct
To find Helzephyr, hunt around Cinnamoth Forest, the Ancient Ritual Site, Lake Center, and Hypocrite Hill, all near the center of the map. Helzephyr only appears at night and can be quickly seen in the air because of its neon plumage.
To breed your Pals, you’ll need a Mixing Farm, unlocked at level 19, in your base. You’ll also need cake for each breeding session your Pals engage in. Be sure to assign Frostallion and Helzephyr to the Mixing Farm to get the process started.
How to Find Jetragon in Palworld
Jetragon might be even easier to find than Frostallion. Head to Mount Obsidian and from the Northern coast. Climb the tall cubic wall to get to Mount Obsidian’s western side. You’ll soon stumble across a broad dirt trail that will take you through the magma fields. Follow this dirt trail into a clearing and you’ll find Jetragon waiting for you. Jetragon will turn hostile the moment he sees you, so be prepared.
While we delve deep into the precise gear you’ll need to make Jetragon a breeze, having Frostallion in your party is a great first step. As a Dragon-type, Jetragon takes super effective damage from Frostallion, who’s already very tanky and capable of dealing with Jetragon’s barrage of fast attacks.
How to Find Paladius and Necromous in Palworld
These two share a section because they’re always together. Paladius and Necromous used to be part of one whole. Now, they run and fight together, making them quite difficult to take down.
To find the duo, you’ll need to go to the top right desert island, using the Deep Sand Dunes waypoint. Once you’ve done that, head north. You’ll find Necromous and Paladius running along the coast, often in the groves.
A good combination of Pals to take on Paladius and Necromous is Jetragon and Frostallion Noct. Jetragon can counter Necromous, who is a Dark-type. Frostallion Noct can handle Paladius, who is a Normal-type. I prefer to take out Necromous first, followed by Paladius, but it’s all up to individual preference. And because the duo run so close together, the rocket launcher is one of the best weapons you can bring against the two of them.
