Dead Space Remake brings fans back to the classic survival horror adventure as engineer Isaac Clarke. On a seemingly routine mission to provide maintenance to a planet-cracking vessel, Isaac and crew discover much worse things aboard the seemingly abandoned ship. Before you can delve in on PC, though, you need to know if you can run it. Here are all the Dead Space Remake PC requirements.
What Do I Need to Run Dead Space Remake on PC?
Before we begin, we want to make it clear that we don’t know the exact performance that these requirements will run. Judging by other games with PC requirements, it could likely be 1080p/30 FPS low settings for minimum and 1080p/60 FPS high settings for recommended. That is purely speculatory though, so don’t take that as a guarantee. With that out of the way, here’s what you need to run the game:
Minimum Requirements
- CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x/Intel i5-8600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- GPU: AMD RX 5700/Nvidia GTX 1070
- Storage: 50 GB Available Space
- Additional Notes: SATA SSD if possible.
Recommended Requirements
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x/Intel i5-11600K
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- GPU: AMD RX 6700 XT/Nvidia RTX 2070
- Storage: 50 GB Available Space
- Additional Notes: PCIe (NVMe) SSD if possible.

Dead Space Remake’s requirements are relatively low compared to other games of its caliber. An RTX 2070 is by no means a low-level graphics card, but to have that as a recommended is a surprisingly welcome choice. Minimum requirements are also several generations of PC parts old, so those on somewhat lower-end PCs should still be able to enjoy the game. While this will only apply to a very small portion of you, it’s also important to note that the game is designed only to run on Windows 10 or better, so don’t go expecting to run this game on Windows 7 or 8.
