Though most of the adventure in Hogwarts Legacy is centered around your character alone, that doesn’t mean some companions can’t help out along the way. They aren’t full-blown party members like other open-world games, but they can offer up some story prospects and new rewards.

Hogwarts Legacy is full of characters to make the Wizarding World feel alive, of course, many of them are students that encounter the protagonist. Some of these students turn out to be companions, and we’ll list them all here so you know who to look out for in the iconic school.

Hogwarts Legacy – All Companions Listed

So far, there are four companions that can be found in Hogwarts Legacy. Each one of them is tied to a house, and depending on where you get sorted, that’s the first companion that you’ll meet on your first day at the school. With one companion for each house in the game, there are plenty of opportunities for side quests and main narratives. All four of these characters can be found listed below.

Every Hogwarts Legacy Companion:

  • Sebastian Sallow – House Slytherin
  • Natsai Onai – House Gryffindor
  • Poppy Sweeting – House Hufflepuff
  • Amit Thakkar (side companion) – House Ravenclaw

At least three of these companions will lead to some incredibly powerful unlocks. Sebastian, for example, will eventually have a quest to unlock the Unforgivable Curse, Avada Kedavra. After completing most of his quests and reaching level 28, he unlocks his own optional quest as a closing adventure. Both Natsai Onai and Poppy Sweeting work in the same way. If you want some genuine quests with good rewards, then I would avoid choosing House Ravenclaw in Hogwarts Legacy.

Amit Thakkar is the fourth “companion” that seems to be somewhere in the middle Ravenclaw may have received the short end of the stick in that regard for Hogwarts Legacy, but time will tell if the house of wisdom gets a true companion of their own.
