All Characters in the Overwatch Dating Sim, LOVERWATCH

If there’s one thing that Overwatch players want, it’s to date the heroes of the game (or see them date each other). There’s no end of fanfiction, fan art, and… spicy videos… that proves that point precisely. And Blizzard has tapped into this desperate thirst market with a new dating sim called Loverwatch. But what characters are in Overwatch Dating Sim, Loverwatch?

All Characters in the Overwatch Dating Sim, LOVERWATCH

The cast of the surreal (and very un-canon) dating sim is fairly limited. Those characters are:

• Genji
• Zenyatta
• Mercy
• Ana
• Hanzo

Genji and Mercy are the primary romanceable options. You’ll meet them in a comedy bar where you’ll have the chance to woo them. A monumental task for someone who has self-described (in-game) as being a loser in love. Fortunately, you’ll have Hanzo Cupid on your side to guide you through.

If you make it all the way to the third date, you’ll have the chance to meet the person most important to Mercy and Genji. For Mercy, that person is Ana, another Support Hero and member of Overwatch who commands Mercy’s respect and admiration. Impress Ana, and you’ll inch ever closer to winning Mercy’s heart.

For Genji, you’ll need to summit the mountains of Nepal to visit the temple where he found peace. There, Zenyatta will be waiting for you with some wise words and some of the funniest dialogue in the game.

By completing both Mercy and Genji’s routes, you’ll gain access to icons, titles, and highlight intros unique to them. But did you know there’s a secret third icon and title that’s up for grabs, too? And you don’t even have to buy it in the Overwatch in-game shop.

As for whether new characters will be added, the answer is no. At least not this year. But Blizzard is always looking for new merchandizing opportunities, so perhaps next year!
