All Boosters in Helldivers 2, Ranked

I Boost, You Boost. He/she/we, Boost?

When you’re working your way through a Helldivers 2 Warbond, you might be tempted to spend your hard-earned Medals on flashy new armor or weapons. Understandable, but for both you and your allies’ sakes, take a look at this breakdown of in-game Boosters, which cost a pretty penny but can have massive impacts on mission difficulty.

“Must-Take” Helldivers 2 Boosters

These two Boosters are, nearly always, must-haves. Running a mission without these is basically shooting yourself in the foot, either by increasing time spent resupplying or waiting around for stamina to recharge. Remember: the longer you’re in a mission, the more enemies will spawn.

Stamina Enhancement Booster – Increases Stamina by a lot, allowing you and your party to sprint much farther distances without becoming winded. In a game all about repositioning, this is invaluable as a buff.

Pod Space Optimization Booster – Grants full ammo, stims, and grenades on drop-in or respawn. This booster is hugely efficient in terms of cost-value – it’s essentially double the ammunition at the start of a mission, with a compounding value with every respawn.

“Solid Pick” Helldivers 2 Boosters

These are pretty solid picks if someone else in the squad is rolling a really great Booster you also happen to have. “Gap fillers,” if you will. Nobody’s going to complain if you bring one of these along.

Muscle Enhancement Booster – You’re no longer slowed down when running uphill or across difficult terrain. Paired with the Stamina Enhancement Booster (or even on its own) this saves a lot of time. No more awkwardly trundling around the map.

Vitality Enhancement Booster – Boosts your health. More health equals less death. Pretty good.

UAV Recon Booster – Enemies on the map appear at a farther range. Great for setting up defenses like Turrets in appropriate locations, or when planning attacks on enemy bases.

“Meh” Helldivers 2 Boosters

Anything is better than a wasted Booster slot, so if your only option is one of these, you might as well bring it. Just don’t expect much thanks.

Increased Reinforcement Budget Booster – a whopping 1 (one) extra Reinforcement per player. Yawn.

Flexible Reinforcement Budget Booster – 12 seconds are shaved off the 2-minute wait time for another Reinforcement once they’re depleted. If you’re relying on this to get by, you messed up a long, long time ago.

And of course, New Boosters are being added all the time, so I’ll return to this list once I’ve gotten my hands on them and plop them into a category I think they’re most suited for. Disagree with my takes? Just send a message to the nearest Democracy Officer and they’ll point you in the right direction.
