Aliens: Dark Descent Release Date
The newest entry in the Alien videogame franchise will officially be arriving on June 20, 2023.

Aliens Dark Descent will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. As of this writing, there are no plans for a launch on Nintendo Switch.

Aliens: Dark Descent Explained
The description for Aliens: Dark Descent explains, “Drop into the gripping journey of Aliens: Dark Descent, a squad-based, single-player action game in the iconic Alien franchise. Lead your soldiers in real-time to stop a new and terrifying kind of Xenomorph outbreak on Planet Lethe.”
Based on its description, the game seems to take influence from both the action heavy nature of James Cameron’s 1986 box office smash Aliens, as well as Ridley Scott’s more eerie, horror-inspired 1979 series debut Alien.
Aliens Dark Descent is categorized as a real time strategy and action adventure game on Steam, and is published by Focus Entertainment.
