WoW’s Upcoming Forsaken Heritage Armor Just Got Even Better

Now with 100% more glove per glove.

It’s a good time to be Undead. Blizzard has been on an absolute tear with new content this year, and cosmetics like new armor and mounts are among the most well-loved aspects of Dragonflight. Heritage Armor – the race-specific sets you’ll unlock for leveling up a freshly-made character to 60 – isn’t yet available for every race, but more are on the way all the time. The newest upcoming editions in 10.1.7, coming September 5, 2023, are to Forsaken and Night Elves.

WoW Forsaken Heritage Armor Updates

The PTR, or Public Test Realm, revealed some updates to the previously announced Forsaken Heritage set – and it’s looking better than ever! Some new gloves and chest straps really tie the piece together much better than before. Below you can see the “before” and “after” images, via Wowhead, of the changes.

It’s worth noting, by the way, that while most images such as these are datamined, Blizzard did officially reveal the previously “unfinished” set on their Twitter. After some fan feedback, it seems they’ve done a little extra work to really make the set shine. Good job, team!

Dealing with feedback can be tricky, but from Diablo 4 to World of Warcraft, Blizzard’s dev teams have been consistently engaging with somewhat.. thorny player bases with an outstanding degree of patience. I don’t know how they do it, but as someone who loves these games, I sure am glad they do.

Forsaken is my absolute favorite race, so I’m super excited to unlock these myself come September. Maybe I’ll finally play a Death Knight or something. Anyway! You can get your hands on these September 5, but if you’re a returning player, a word of warning: the Welcome Back Gift may cause some issues (check our guide on the Welcome Back Gift’s caveats here).
