The highly anticipated Rise of Azshara update is now live in World of Warcraft, bringing players to Nazjatar and offering a ton of new content for fans to enjoy in Blizzard’s wildly popular MMORPG. With two new zones that offer exciting adventures and a ton of new in-game changes, update 8.2 is exactly what the shaman ordered when it comes to a good time.
World of Warcraft players can check out the video above to see a full breakdown of what’s new in Azeroth, including new armor sets and zone-specific rewards. The Heart of Azeroth system has also seen a total overhaul, taking on more of a Legion feel with the Artifact Weapon that many loved.
According to Blizzard, “Something sinister churns beneath the waves–the Queen of Tides’ return is imminent! Rise of Azshara, the next major Battle for Azeroth content update goes live June 25 and is packed with many new features, including the addition of Essences to the Heart of Azeroth system; two new zones to explore, Nazjatar and Mechagon; Heritage Armor for tauren and gnomes; new Benthic gear; a raid that takes players into the depths of Azshara’s Eternal Palace; and much more.”

For those that really enjoy a good challenge, the newest raid will feature 8 bosses in total with the below difficulties:
- Normal
- Heroic
- Mythic
As for when the raids actually begin, those go live a little later on July 9th for both Normal and Heroic Players.
