There’s a new mod that puts Henry Cavill as Geralt in the Witcher 3 after his casting reveal for the Netflix show and the original voice behind Geralt has a few words to say about it. In case you missed the earlier news, the mod itself is equal parts funny and impressive, putting Cavill’s beardless likeness on everyone’s every witcher.

Though the current mod build is based on the screen test, modder ‘Adan444’ assures PC players that more versions will be coming soon following the epic SDCC trailer that changed so many minds for the better regarding the Man of Steel actor. That being said, Geralt actor Doug Cockle had a good sense of humor about it when he told IGN “How dare they mod out my perfectly facial captured image of Game Geralt. Leave Geralt alone guys, he’s fine as he is. But, I giggled a bit …”

We did too, Cockle, we did too.

With a tagline of “The Witcher Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts,” it’s hard not to be totally amped for the upcoming 8-episode long series!

The upcoming show stars Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill as the main protagonist himself, alongside Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold. The author of the books himself is also on board with the project, working as the creative consultant for Hissrich’s vision.
