With only a week left until launch, THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have released a video showcasing the introductory cutscene for the highly anticipated third installment to the Darksiders series, Darksiders 3. You can check out the opening scene of Darksiders 3 in the video below.
The video broadly illustrates the story behind the four horsemen of the apocalypse: War, Death, Strife, and Fury. We also get a good taste of Fury’s sassy attitude, which is part of what sets her apart from her three Nephilim brothers.
“Will you light the flame of creation anew, or stomp out the embers for good?” asks the ominous voice of what sounds like the Charred Council. We won’t be able to fully unpack the meaning of this question until the game launches next week on November 27. However, this intro certainly has us intrigued.
