Vampyr’s Summer Content Update Includes Two New Game Modes

Vampyr will receive a new Story Mode and Hard Mode as part of the update.

The first of the two new modes is a Story Mode, which features less challenging combat for those who really want to sink their teeth into the game’s narrative. The update will also introduce a new Hard Mode which, as the name suggests, is a more difficult version of the base game for those who want more of a challenge while skulking around the streets of a disease-ridden 1918 London. Hard mode will also grant less XP from killing enemies too, shifting the focus more towards citizens to up the challenge.

The summer content update for Vampyr will also introduce a number of optimization tweaks to improve the gameplay experience. Ahead of the update, Vampyr is also available for 25% off on Steam this weekend. If you’ve been considering picking up this thrilling action RPG, now is a great time to do so.

Dontnod didn’t mention exactly when the summer content update would arrive, but considering the sale only lasts for the weekend, it must be on its way sometime soon. Be sure to check out our various Vampyr guides to help you prepare for the vampiric journey ahead.
