Uncharted 3 co-op Shade Survival mode announced

Naughty Dog has announced a new game type for Uncharted 3 multiplayer: the co-op Shade Survival mode.

The Sony-owned developer teased the inbound mode with a screenshot, below. You’ll be able to download it from the PlayStation Store in March.

Meanwhile, Naughty Dog confirmed that the Flashback Map Pack 2 launches today, Tuesday 21st February, on the US PlayStation Store for $9.99.

The Flashback Map Pack 2 adds the Plaza, Temple, Train Wreck and Village maps. They have all-new dynamic lighting effects, particle effects and “tons of other fresh technical polish”, Naughty Dog said.

“The lighting on every map has been completely redone by the artists here at Naughty Dog,” said community strategist Eric Monacelli.

“This map pack provides a good look at the technical and gameplay shine we can put on Uncharted 3 multiplayer maps and foreshadows what you’ll be seeing in new DLC coming out over the next couple months.”
