As part of an announcement by Nintendo for third-party support (through a press release), Ubisoft has confirmed that Sam Fisher is in fact heading to the platform this August, along with other systems.  Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist will feature special GamePad features that will let you access a number of Fisher’s tools with ease, including his famous headset, snakecam, and weapons.  It also allows you to operate drones and mark enemies for targeting without needing to switch to a secondary screen.

We’ll have a closer look at the Wii U version of the game in the months ahead.  For now, get your pre-orders in, because Fisher returns with a vengeance on August 20th.
