With the Wii U version, you’ll have access to Sam’s OpSat on your touch pad, “allowing the player to operate gadgets such as tri-rotor drones, sticky cam and much more through touch- and motion-based inputs,” according to the official game description.  You can also mark and execute enemies, switch weapons and go with gadgets on the fly, while checking on your friends’ progress within the game.

Ubisoft has announced that pre-orders have gone live for the game, on both Amazon and GameStop.  Though bonuses haven’t been detailed yet, you can bet that the publisher will be revealing something shortly and it’ll definitely be intriguing.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will hit stores on August 20th for all platforms.
