Tom Clancy’s The Division – Snowdrop Next-Gen Engine Trailer

Tom Clancy’s The Division is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2014. To keep everyone drooling, Ubisoft released a trailer that highlights the company’s proprietary Snowdrop Engine powering the game.

In addition to looking gorgeous, players will notice a day/night cycle, advanced lighting effects and damage. Shooting tires is old hat, but what about bullets puncturing holes in metal signs? Can’t say we’ve seen that before. 

The most impressive aspect to all this is the way weather behaves in the environment. As you’ll see, snow eventually melts.
